The Friends of the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital was founded in 1989 to address health and safety issues that affect the well being of children. A diverse group of volunteers from throughout the region focus on these issues through advocacy, outreach and educational efforts and by supporting pediatric research and clinical care.

The Friends membership is made up of people with varying backgrounds and skills. All of them share a deep commitment to improve the health of children. We welcome new members who will help us pursue in our mission.
