Reach Out & Read (ROR)
Part of a continuum of literacy programs called Read To Grow. Reach Out & Read distributes age and culturally appropriate books to pre-school age children who are seen at their health care visits in the Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital's Primary Care Center (PCC). The books are used by pediatricians as developmental tools.

We're Special Too! (a sibling program)
Focuses on the importance of brothers and sisters of children with chronic illness, terminal illness and special needs. It provides support and information in a recreational atmosphere that encourages learning, sharing and having fun. We're Special Too! has been recognized as the leading program of its kind in the nation.
